On November 19th and 20th the Brookline Police Association held an informational picket to educate the town meeting members on collective bargaining issues. The associaiton has only received a 1.5% increase in the last six years, they have been without a contract for a number of years, they have made many concessions during bargaining and the town has not budged. All the Brookline Police Association is looking for is fairness. They had a fantastic turnout at the picket and delivered a flier to each and every one of the town meeting members explaining their position. Congratulations to the Brookline Police Association on organizing a very successful event.
